Terms of use

By creating an account or using the launcher you accept these rules and declare that you are at least 14 years old. They are few and simple.
What Harling is today
Harling is a game in development, in a very early testing phase. It may have bugs, lose progress, change its rules and content, and stay offline, even for a long time. We offer it as it is, without warranties.
It is free
The game is free. There is nothing to buy: no paid currency, no items for sale, no cryptocurrencies or NFTs. One day, to cover the cost of servers and maintenance, we might put something on sale. If that happens, we commit right now to keeping it cosmetic-only: looks, colours or decorations that give no advantage in the game. No pay-to-win: no weapons, no stats, no shortcuts. We will announce it clearly and in advance.
Your account
- One account per person; keep it to yourself and do not share your password.
- The characters, items and coins in the game are not yours in a legal sense and have no monetary value: they cannot be sold or traded outside the game.
- During the tests we may reset characters and progress; when that happens we will tell you beforehand, if we can.
How to behave
The following are not allowed: insults, harassment, discrimination and threats, voice chat included; cheating, programs that play in your place and deliberately exploiting bugs; attempts to get in where you should not, to attack the server or to read its encrypted files; spam and advertising. Anyone who breaks these rules may be suspended or banned, for a while or for good.
Tests and confidentiality
During the tests you can talk about the game however you like: screenshots, videos and live streams are all free to share. We only ask you to say that it is a version in development.
Content and AI
The game, its texts, artwork and code belong to Gian Luca Cecchi. Artificial intelligence was used during development to support the art direction and the code. We may use the reports and suggestions you send us to improve the game, with no obligation towards you.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage or for the loss of game progress. This never affects the rights that Italian and European law grant you as a consumer.
Leaving
You can stop whenever you like and ask for your account to be deleted (see Privacy). We may close the service at any time: we will announce it in advance, if possible.
Governing law
Italian law applies, and the court of Arezzo has jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you keep the rights that the law of your own country gives you, including the right to go to the court of the place where you live.
